Reuniting families with what's rightfully theirs!
About Us

Built by someone who understands what it means to start over.

Legacy Claims Alliance, LLC exists because families deserve to know when money that's rightfully theirs is sitting unclaimed, and deserve someone straightforward walking them through how to get it back.

My Story

Mark R. Khalil, Founder

I'm a military spouse and a real estate professional, and both of those things shaped why this company exists. Military life means starting over often: new duty stations, new cities, new schools, new routines, sometimes with little warning. It teaches you to build things that hold up no matter where life sends you next, and to look out for other families going through the same kind of upheaval.

Working in real estate, I kept coming across the same overlooked fact: when a home sells at a tax or foreclosure sale for more than what was owed on it, the leftover money is supposed to go back to the former owner. Most people never find out it's sitting there. Counties don't exactly go out of their way to track people down, and by the time someone might think to look, they've usually moved on, sometimes literally across the country, the way military families do all the time.

I started Legacy Claims Alliance to close that gap. Not by making it complicated or by hiding the ball, but by doing the opposite: showing families exactly where their money is, exactly what it would take to get it themselves for free, and offering to handle the legwork for anyone who'd rather not do it alone.

Our Mission

Why Legacy Claims Alliance exists

Everything about how we operate traces back to one belief: you should always know exactly what's happening with your money, and why.

Honesty first

We tell every client upfront that they can file their own claim for free. We'd rather earn your trust than talk you out of an option that's better for you. Every claim we work is grounded in the surplus funds statute of the state where the property was located, and we're always glad to point you to it so you can read the law for yourself.

Family, not a file number

Every case behind our records is a person who went through a hard chapter. We treat the process, and the people, that way from the first call.

Built for a mobile life

Counties typically try to reach former owners with a single letter sent to the address of the property they no longer own, the one place they're least likely to still be. People move, remarry, pass away, or simply lose track of a property they haven't thought about in years, and that single letter rarely finds them. We built this company for exactly that gap.
